Nightline GIAG Active Listening

The Bristol SU Living Room, 02 Oct 2019, 6:00PM

Come along to the Bristol Nightline Active Listening Skills Workshop! Active Listening is a technique mostly used in counseling and conflict resolution; and is also used by our volunteers. It means that the listener fully concentrates, understands, remembers and then responds to what is being communicated. We all need these skills to be able to communicate with others, both at work and in our personal life. So, if you want to have a go at active listening and want to try putting yourself in the shoes of our volunteers, come along. Our coordinators will be there to answer any questions about our service, and how you can get more involved with the service.
